تدشين أول فندق فضائي عام 2012 وقضاء 3 أيام ب 4 ملايين دولار فقط

    من المقرر أن يفتتح أول فندق فضائي عام 2012 وسوف يطلق عليه اسم "الجناح المجرّي" بتكلفة إجمالية تبلغ 3 مليارات دولار وسوف يدفع النزيل 4 ملايين دولار للمبيت فيه لمدة 3 أيام. وسوف يبقى نزلاؤه في حالة دوران حول الأرض خلال فترة إقامتهم، وبسرعة دورة واحدة كل 80 دقيقة، ولعل من أغرب الظواهر الطبيعية التي ستثير استغرابهم هي أنهم سيتابعون 15 شروقاً للشمس كل يوم. وقال خبراء أسواق من الذين اطلعوا على نشرة أسعار الخدمات التي يقدّمها "الفندق المجرّي"، الذي تساهم دولة الإمارات في تمويله وبنائه كشريك أساسي، إنه الأغلى سعراً في مجرّة درب التبّانة التي ينتمي إليها نظامنا الشمسي. وخلال الأيام الثلاثة التي يقضيها النزلاء، سوف تتهيأ لهم فرصة استخدام بذلات الفضاء للتحليق حول الغرف التي يبيتون فيها، بعد أن يتشبثوا بالجدران الخارجية للفندق الطائر بأيديهم وبطريقة تشبه تلك التي يزحف فيها "الرجل العنكبوت" على جدران الأبنية. وقد كتب لهذه الفكرة أن تفوز باهتمام العديد من كبار المستثمرين العالميين بمن فيهم الإماراتيون بالإضافة لشركة أميركية طموحة تعمل على تنفيذ خطة مستقبلية لاستعمار المريخ وبناء منشآت سياحية فوقه، وقررت الاستثمار في المشروع. وما لبث بعض المستثمرين اليابانيين أن عبروا عن اهتمامهم بالأمر ودخلوا شركاء فيه.

ولا يبدو أن الفندق الفضائي سيعاني على الإطلاق من مشكلة البحث عن زبائن لفندقه العجيب، فهو يقول: دلّت دراسات الجدوى التي أنجزناها بالفعل أن أكثر من 40 ألف إنسان عبر العالم جاهزون لتقديم طلبات حجز الغرف.

Space hotel to open to tourists in 2012

The first hotel in space will be open for business and accepting tourists by 2012 after an anonymous billionaire space enthusiast granted $3billion to finance the project.

But future space visitors will have to pack their credit cards as the Galactic Suite Space Resort will charge 3 million euros for a three-night stay and eight-week training course on a tropical island before the trip.

Despite doubts about the cost and time frame of the project, more than 200 people have expressed an interest in the trip and 43 have already made a reservation. 

During their stay, guests will see the sun rise 15 times a day and travel around the world every 80 minutes. They will wear velcro suits so they can crawl around their pod rooms by sticking themselves to the walls like Spiderman.

Xavier Claramunt, CEO of Galactic Suite Ltd and former aerospace engineer, said the project will put ‘his company at the forefront of an infant industry with a huge future ahead of it’, and forecast that space travel will become common in the future.

‘It’s very normal to think that your children, possibly within 15 years, could spend a weekend in space,’ he told Reuters.

Galactic Suite Ltd, set up in 2007, hopes to start its project with a single pod in orbit 280 miles above the earth, traveling at over 18,000 miles per hour, with the capacity to hold four guests and two astronaut-pilots.

It will take a day and a half to reach the pod - which Claramunt compared to a mountain retreat - and there will be no staff to greet travellers.

‘When the passengers arrive in the rocket, they will join it for three days, rocket and capsule. With this we create in the tourist a confidence that he hasn’t been abandoned. After three days the passenger returns to the transport rocket and returns to earth,’ he said.

Galactic Suite is not the only company looking at space tourism as the future of travel.

Spaceport America, based in New Mexico, is the first facility built specifically for space-bound commercial customers and fee-paying passengers.

    تم إطلاق فقاعة هوائية طائرة يعتقد أنها الأكبر حجماً على مستوى العالم. وقد جاءت تلك الفقاعة نتيجةً لماء ممزوج بالصابون و اطلقت باستخدام قطعة حبل مربوط بين قضيبين بطريقة سرية للغاية.

وكان سام سام البالغ من العمر 37 عاماً يهدف من هذه الفقاعة الى إدراج اسمه في موسوعة غينيس بتحطيم الرقم القياسي العالمي الذي تم تسجيله في عام 2005 في مينيسوتا بالولايات المتحدة بإحداث فقاعة بلغ حجمها 105.4 قدم مكعب.

لم يكن سام سام متأكداً على وجه الدقة والتحديد من الحجم الحقيقي لفقاعته التي أجرى محاولة إحداثها في حديقة فينسبيري بارك شمالي لندن – بيد أن تلك الفقاعة امتدت بحيث بلغت أبعادها 20 قدم في خمسة أقدام في خمسة أقدام عندما وصلت إلى أقصى حجم لها. وهو حالياً في انتظار وصول تأكيد رسمي بهذا الخصوص حيث تحدث قائلاً: "إنني على ثقة من أنها حطمت الرقم القياسي السابق."

ويظهر سام سام مصوراً مع إنجازه وقد امتنع عن الإفصاح عن الوصفة الحقيقية للخلطة التي تتكون منها فقاعته قائلاً إنها تمثل سر نجاحه. واكتفى بأن قال: "باستخدام المادة المناسبة يمكنك إنتاج فقاعة كبيرة الحجم بأي شيء سواء كان مشجب ملابس أم بمجرد استخدام اليدين."

وتمكن سام سام من تطوير الخلطة السرية للغاية عبر فترة زمنية امتدت عشرين عاماً من المحاولة والخطأ. وقد درج على إنتاج الفقاعات للمشاهير على مستوى العالم.

وتظهر الفقاعة التي أطلقها سام سام طافية فوق حديقة فيسنبيري في لندن بطريقة شبيهة لما اشتملت عليه مشاهد الفيلم الشهير "الهاوية" الذي عرض في تسعينيات القرن المنصرم.

ووصف إنجازه بقوله: "إن الأمر في مجمله يتعلق بإتباع الطريقة الصحيحة فإذا كانت لديك الخلطة السليمة فإن الأدوات التي تستخدمها لا تهم في هذه الحالة."

وأردف يقول: "أن تصبح منتج فقاعات يعني إلى حد بعيد أن تصبح كقابض الريح. إنك تصبح حساساً للغاية تجاه التغييرات التي تطرأ على الاتجاهات كما يتوجب عليك أن تتحرك في الوقت المناسب لكي تحافظ على تماسك الفقاعة."

وحال حصول سام سام على تأكيد رسمي لرقمه القياسي الجديد سيمثل هذا الإنجاز إضافة لرقميه القياسيين اللذين سجلهما فيما مضى حيث تمكن في نوفمبر 2007م من إدخال خمسين شخصاً في إحدى فقاعاته. وبعد عام حصل على جائزة إدخال أكبر عدد ممكن من الفقاعات داخل فقاعة واحدة – حيث بلغ عدد تلك الفقاعات 66 فقاعة.

To make the enormous multicoloured bubble he used just a piece of rope attached between two sticks.

“It’s all about having the right bubble solution,” said Mr Heath. “If you have the right mixture then your tools don’t matter.

“With the right stuff you can make big bubbles with anything; a coat-hanger or even just your hands.

“But technique is another important side. It’s like Andy Murray being able to pull of his tennis strokes. Over years you just perfect the movement you need and you become very proficient.

“The final magic ingredient is the environment. You need the right conditions like low wind and high humidity to create bubbles on this sort of scale.

“Being a bubbleologist is almost as much about being a wind catcher as it is a bubble maker. You become quite sensitive to changes in direction and you have to move at the right time to keep the bubble together.”

In November 2007, Mr Heath put 50 people inside one of his creations.

A year later he earned the award for putting the most bubbles inside a bubble, at 66.

He said he was happy to be earning a living from doing what he loves most.

“It all started with just a single bubble,” he said. “I was sitting in a field and a bubble just floated past.

“I took the word away from the object and just looked at it for what it was. I captured my imagination and I just thought what an amazing thing that was.

“It’s like one of those anomalies of nature that just shouldn’t exist. Like a bumblebee being too big for it’s wings.”

His firm Bubbleinc sells mixtures and equipment as well as performing shows for audiences which have included the Dubai Royal family, Paul McCartney and Peter Gabriel.

You couldn’t blow one this big with a wand and some soapy water, no matter how long you huffed and puffed.

The shimmering giant, thought to be the world’s largest free-floating soap bubble, was created with a piece of rope between two sticks and a top secret bubble solution.

It is the work of ‘bubbleologist’ Samsam Bubbleman, 37.

Samsam (real name Sam Heath) was aiming to pop the Guinness World Record set in 2005 in Minnesota, U.S., for a bubble of 105.4 cubic feet. He is not sure of the precise volume of his attempt in Finsbury Park, North London, but it stretched to 20ft by 5ft by 5ft at its biggest.

He is now waiting for official confirmation. ‘I’m confident it has obliterated the former record,’ he said.

Samsam, pictured with his creation, refused to reveal the recipe for his bubble mixture, saying it is the secret to his success.

‘With the right stuff you can make big bubbles with anything - a coat-hanger or even just your hands,’ he said. 

He developed the top-secret mixture over 20 years of trial and error.

The professional bubble-maker has been described as ‘the Willy Wonka of Bubbles’ by DJ Chris Evans.

Once confirmed the new record will add to Samson’s tally of two standing world firsts.

Samsam first started his love affair with bubbles in 1989 and now earns a living doing what he loves best.

‘It all started with just a single bubble,’ he said. ‘I was sitting in a field and a bubble just floated past.

‘It’s like one of those anomalies of nature that just shouldn’t exist. Like a bumblebee being too big for its wings.’

He eventually formed company Bubbleinc and now sells mixtures, equipment and performs shows for big name audiences.

Stars like Paul McCartney and Peter Gabriel have also brought him in for private shows.

And it’s not just shows that people are getting in touch for. Tory leader David Cameron, DJ Norman Cook and REM singer Michael Stipe have all used his website to buy bubble-making equipment and mixtures.

    أعلن مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي عن إصدار 4 كتب جديدة في دورته الثالثة والثلاثين التي تقام في الفترة من 10 إلى 20 تشرين ثان/ نوفمبر الجاري أبرزها كتاب التكريمات الذي يحوي دراسات عن المسيرة الفنية للفنانين المصريين الذين يكرمهم هذا العام.

ويكرم المهرجان في دورته الجديدة النجمة نادية الجندي والفنانة الكبيرة شويكار ومدير التصوير محسن نصر والمخرج علي عبد الخالق والمونيتر أحمد متولي وتولى إعداد كتاب التكريمات الدكتور ناجي فوزي والنقاد وليد سيف ومحمود قاسم وأشرف غريب.

وتم عرض الفيلم بعد ترميمه في الدورة الأخيرة لمهرجان "كان السينمائي الدولي" وتحملت وزارة الثقافة المصرية نفقات ترميم النسخة وتحويلها إلى نسخة ملونة بتكلفة بلغت 50 ألف يورو.

وقال المهرجان إن عصام الدين عبد الهادي رئيس شركة الصوت والضوء أبدى تعاونا كبيرا وقدم كافة التسهيلات لتجهيز موقع خاص يقام عليه قاعة عرض سينمائي تتضمن خيام ومقاعد خاصة وشاشة لعرض فيلم "المومياء" لضيوف المهرجان فى أجواء تاريخية تتناسب والأحداث التي يدور حولها.

كما يقام عرض آخر للفيلم للصحفيين والنقاد بسينما قودنيوز مساء الاثنين 16 تشرين ثان/ نوفمبر يليه لقاء مع نخبة من صناع السينما المصرية بينهم المخرج محمد كامل القليوبي ومخرج الأفلام التسجيلية سمير عوف ومهندس الديكور أنسي أبو سيف والكاتب الكبير علاء الديب والناقد مصطفى درويش وفنانة الماكير نبيلة فوزي والمصور مصطفى إمام والمنتيرة رحمة منتصر ومهندس الديكور صلاح مرعي.

    تعرضت نجمة البوب الأميركية بريتني سبيرز إلى انتقادات واسعة بعدما خرج المشاهدون من حفلها الأول في استراليا وهم مستاءون من أدائها السيئ على المسرح.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الأسترالية "أيه أيه بي" أن الجمهور بدأ بالخروج بعد أداء سبيرز ثلاث اغانٍ فقط، على الرغم من أن البعض منهم دفع أكثر من 180 دولارا لمشاهدتها.

وقد أبدى مشاهدو الحفل امتعاضهم من أداء سبيرز السيئ ومن سوء التنظيم وصعوبة الرؤية، مشيرين إلى أن الشاشات العملاقة لم تظهر المغنية التي بدت مجرد نقطة تتحرك على المسرح وكانت تدير ظهرها للجمهور معظم فترة العرض.

وكانت سبيرز قد أحيت حفلاً يوم امس الاول امام 17 ألف متفرج في مدينة بيرث الاسترالية في إطار جولتها الموسيقية العالمية التي تحمل اسم "سيركيس".

She’s obviously not a big fan of underwear as Britney Spears has forgotten to wear a bra once again.

Wearing a tight v-neck sweater, the singer’s curves were evident as she strolled from her hotel in Perth, Australia, to an awaiting car.

Perhaps the 27-year-old’s mind was on more important issues - like her concert that night on her Circus world tour where she has been performing to packed arenas.

It comes ahead of her The Single Collection, set to hit shelves on November 23.

ملكة جمال انكلترا تتنازل عن التاج إثر مشاجرة مع ملكة أخرى

    تخلت ملكة جمال انكلترا راشيل كريستي عن لقبها بعدما تم اعتقالها على خلفية اعتدائها على ملكة جمال أخرى خلال حفل تنكري.

وذكرت شبكة "سكاي نيوز" أن كريستي (21 عاماً) وهي متسابقة رياضية أيضاً، قد اعتقلت هذا الاسبوع بعد اتهامها بتوجيه صفعات متكررة لملكة جمال مدينة مانشستر سارا بيفرلي جونز (24 عاماً) خلال شجار اندلع بينهما في ملهى ليلي في مدينة مانشستر.

وأفادت الشبكة ان المرأتين تشاجرتا على رجل يدعى ديفيد مسينتوش شارك في برنامج المسابقات "غلادييتور".

وأصدرت منظمة ملكة جمال انكلترا بياناً جاء فيه "نتيجة التركيز الإعلامي بعد الادعاءات، قررت راشيل كريستي الانسحاب من مسابقة ملكة جمال العالم والتنازل عن تاج ملكة جمال انكلترا"، وأكد البيان أن كريستي ستركز على تبرئة اسمها والتدرب للالعاب الأولمبية عام 2012 إلى حين حل القضية.

وذكرت "سكاي نيوز" أنه تم اطلاق سراح كريستي بموجب كفالة مالية على أن تمثل أمام المحكمة مجدداً في كانون الثاني/يناير المقبل.

الجندي كاثرين التي جاءت في المرتبة الثانية في مسابقة جمال إنجلترا،حلت محل ملكة جمال إنجلترا -وهي اول سمراء- بسب عراكها مع ملكة جمال أخرى في نادي ليلي على صدسق.

كاثرين دخلت الجيش في عملية تحدي،حين تحداها شقيقها الجزار حاليا في الإنضمام للجيش ،فأنضمت للجيش وهي في ال16 من عمرها،وبعد 3 اسابيع أحبت العسكرية.

حضرت للمعسكر بأظافر طويلة وكعب عالي ورموش إصطناعية،فسموها ب باربي المقاتلة أو المحاربة،وصبغت شعرها الأشقر بالأسود،حتى تقلل من هجوم زملائها اللفظي اللاذع على الشقراوات.

Corporal Katrina Hodge was sitting in her barracks in Surrey wearing regulation combats, hair scraped back and face devoid of make-up, when the telephone rang.

حينما وصلها نبأ قيامها بمهام ملكة إنجلترا بالهاتف، من قبل منظمي ملكة إنجلتر كانت كاثرين هودج بلا مكياج في خيمتها بالمعسكر في جنوب إنجلترا - إيسيكس- وشعرها كان معقوفا للوراء،ووافقت على أن تصبح ملكة إنجلترا والقيام بمهمتها على أكمل وجه و أبدت نفس الحماس الذي قاتلت فيها في العراق،حيث كانت برفقة زملائها ومعهم أسير حين حصل لهم حادث،وتمكن الأسير العراقي في البصرة من ان يلتقط السلاح،فتصرفت كجندية شرسة،وخطفت منه السلاح بيديها العاريتين،وأنقذت زملائها،ونالت وساما وتم ترقيتها لكوربورال،وستتجه كاثرين إلى جنوب أفريقيا للمشاركة في مسابقة جمال العالم،وهي لاتمتلك حتى ملابس سباحة أو ثياب مدنية،وتتجه لأقرب محلات لتختطف مقياس 8 الموجود في المحلات على عجلة فهي على عجالة من أمرها،وستغادر من المعسكر للمطار للتجة لجوهانسبرج،وهي سعيدة بتمثيلها بلدها إنجلترا،و الجيش البريطاني،وحتى لو نجحت بأن تصبح ملكة جمال العالم،فلن تترك وظيفتها في الجيش،و ستحاول أن تجمع مابين الإثنين على حد تعبيرها،فهي تنوي أن تزيل العقبات وتكسر الحدود ،وهي تحب أن ترتدي التنورات القصيرة والكعب العالي و تلون أظافرها و ترتدي الشفتشي واللي مايعرف كل شئ،وبنفس الوقت لا تمانع في حياة الجيش ومايتطلبها من تقشف و الخوض في الوحل وماشابه،ولديها يومين للقيام باللازم للإستعداد لخوض مسابقة الجمال،فهي بلا أظافر طويلة و لا سيشوار ولا أزياء سهرة وصباح أو أي أزياء مدنية أو حتى طقم سباحة- بيكيني-   .

The call was from the organiser of the Miss England competition, offering her the title. The previous holder, Rachel Christie, had been involved in an alleged nightclub brawl the week before and forced to stand down.

As runner-up in the contest last July, Katrina was the natural successor. She is due to register as Miss England today and will fly out to South Africa on Tuesday in preparation for the Miss World competition.

Katrina has accepted the challenge with the same staunch enthusiasm she showed when she was deployed to Iraq for seven months. She is nothing if not a trooper; it is just that she happens to regard skimpy frocks and a suntan as highly as serving on the front line.

Known to her Army colleagues as Combat Barbie, Katrina, 22, has stunned the military and modelling worlds alike with her determination to combine the two.

‘I like the fact I can come to work with no make-up on and roll around in mud,’ she says. ‘But I like being glamorous and girlie as well. Becoming Miss England is a dream come true. But I’m not just representing the country. I’m representing the British Army.’

Katrina has spent the past two days making the transformation from corporal to Miss World contestant and will travel to the airport from her base in Frimley Park, Surrey.

‘I was in Army mode with no nails when I found out,’ she says. ‘I don’t have any swimsuits or day wear. I’m going to have to run into a shop and grab every size eight dress they have.’

A self-confessed ‘girlie girl’ who loved the colour pink and dancing, and dreamed of becoming a soap star, Katrina was dared by her older brother Bryan, 25, who is now a butcher, to join the Army when she left school at 16.

‘He was in the Army and joked I would never be strong enough,’ she says. ‘I went initially to prove him wrong. By week three, I absolutely loved it.’

When she had completed training, Katrina joined the Royal Anglian Regiment, turning up to her barracks in Winchester, Hampshire, wearing kitten heels and false eyelashes, and wheeling pink suitcases.

‘No sooner had I walked in than the corporal turned round and said, "It’s Combat Barbie!"’ says Katrina, who now has a Barbie sign on her bed-room in her barracks. ‘The name stuck. I really don’t mind, although I did dye my hair brunette because I got sick of all the blonde jokes.’

Her father Jim and mother Ann live in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.  ‘Mum thought it was a joke at first because I am so girlie, but she is very proud,’ says Katrina, who refuses to say if she has a boyfriend.

When Katrina was 18 she was posted to Iraq as one of only ten women in the Royal Anglians.

‘I took my hair straighteners and mascara. It didn’t mean I couldn’t look nice,’ she says.

While she and comrades from her unit, the 1st Battalion, were taking a suspected rebel fighter back to base near Basra, their vehicle crashed. When the prisoner grabbed two rifles, Katrina wrestled them from him and restrained him with her bare hands. ‘For a moment I thought I was going to die,’ she says.

Her commanding officer rewarded her bravery with a commendation to go along with the Iraq Medal she received for her tour of duty, and she was promoted to corporal.

The original Miss England winner, Rachel Christie, 21, is a heptathlete and the niece of Olympic sprinter Linford Christie.

She is alleged to have hit fellow beauty queen Sara Jones at a Manchester nightclub last Monday during a row over a boyfriend. Rachel, who is hoping to compete in the 2012 Olympics, was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail.

‘Rachel is a good friend of mine and I feel sorry for her,’ says Katrina. ‘It sounds very out of character.’

Nonetheless, it is Katrina who will fly to Johannesburg in preparation for the pageant that will take place on December 12. She was offered a modelling contract with lingerie firm La Senza this summer and wants to carry on serving in the Army for the foreseeable future - even if she ends up winning Miss World.

‘I am hard-working and will make sure I can commit to the two,’ she says. ‘I want to break down the boundaries.’

كشفت تحقيقات النيابة بإشراف المستشار محمد غراب المحامي العام الأول لنيابات جنوب القاهرة أن المجني عليه مسجل خطر وأنه بعد تعاطيه المخدرات مع أحد أصدقائه بمنطقة الخليفة أخذ يصيح بصوت عال بالمنطقة وعندما عاتبه المتهمون علي ذلك.. حدثت بينهم مشادة كلامية تعدي خلالها القتيل عليهم بالضرب باستخدام "سنجة" إلا أنهم أرادوا تأديبه فأحاطوه وانهالوا عليه ضرباً باستخدام "الشوم" مما أدي إلي أصابته بنزيف داخلي بالمخ واصابات في مختلف أنحاء جسده وتوفي اثناء إسعافه.
ألقي القبض علي المتهمين وبسؤالهم أمام النيابة أنكروا ارتكابهم للواقعة وأكدوا أن المجني عليه تعدي عليهم بالضرب وأثناء محاولتهم الدفاع عن أنفسهم وتأديبه فر هارباً ولم يروه بعد ذلك.

    أعلنت شبكة "آيه بي سي" الأميركية ان النجمين الأميركيين ريهانا وغرين داي وافقا على المشاركة في الحفل السنوي ال37 لتوزيع "جوائز الموسيقى الأميركية".

وكشف رئيس قسم الإنتاج في الشبكة أورلي أدلسون عن مشاركة النجمين اللذين سينضمان إلى عدد آخر من كبار النجوم الذين أعلنت عن مشاركتهم ، وأبرزهم إيمينيم ، وليدي غاغا، وجاي زي، وأليشا كيز ، وجنيفر لوبيز ، وكاري أندروود وغيرهم.

يشار إلى ان الحفل سيقام في 22 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر الحالي في مسرح "نوكيا" بلوس أنجلس وتنقله "آيه بي سي" مباشرة. وقال منتج الحفل لاري كلاين "نحن نسعى سنوياً لإشراك مجموعة متنوعة من الفنانين وأظن ان المشاركين هذه السنة يعبرون عن عمق ما يقدمه هذا البرنامج لمعجبيه". الى ذلك ، أبدى المغني كريس براون احترامه لحق صديقته السابقة المغنية ريهانا بالتحدث عن اعتدائه عليها، غير أنه أكد أن ما جرى يتعين أن يبقى خاصاً بينهما. وقال براون في تصريح لقناة "أم تي في" الموسيقية "على الرغم من احترامي لحق ريهانا بالتحدث عن أحداث 8 شباط/فبراير، إلا أنني أتمسك بموقفي القاضي بأن جميع التفاصيل يجب ان تبقى بيننا". وشكر المغني ريهانا على دعمها وتمنى لها الأفضل، كما كرر اعتذاره على ما فعله بها وأكد أنه يتحمل مسؤولية أعماله.

وجاء تصريح براون بعدما أفصحت ريهانا في مقابلة مع مقدمة البرامج الحوارية دايان سوير عن معلومات حميمة حول اعتداء براون عليها، مشيرة إلى أن بروان لم يكف عن ضربها وقد هربت من السيارة ووجهها مدمى ومنتفخ. وكان قد حكم على براون بالقيام بأعمال خدمة المجتمع ل180 يوماً تشمل تنظيف الرسومات عن الجدران، وإزالة النفايات عن الطرق، وتنظيف سيارات الشرطة بعدما أدين بتهمة الاعتداء بالضرب على صديقته السابقة المغنية ريهانا.

Rihanna stunned fans earlier this year when she briefly reconciled with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after he assaulted her.

But as the Bajan singer, 21, breaks her silence on the violent altercation, she admits she was wrong to go back to him and feels ‘embarrassed’ she ever loved a man who could raise his hand to her.

In an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America, Rihanna’s voice quivers with emotion as she recalls the horrific incident in the early hours of February 8.

She said she feared going back to Brown had sent her fans who may be in the same predicament the wrong message.

Speaking to veteran broadcaster Diane Sawyer, she said: ‘I fell in love with that person - that is embarrassing.

‘That’s embarrassing - that that is the type of person I fell in love with, so far in love, so unconditionally that I went back.’

In a message of defiance to abuse victims who blame themselves, she said: ‘I am strong. This happened to me. I didn’t cause this, I didn’t do it. This happened to me and it could happen to anybody.’

Rihanna was left battered and bruised after an argument with Brown in his rented Lamborghini as they were returning from a pre-Grammy party in Los Angeles.

Days later, a police photo of Rihanna’s injuries were leaked onto the internet, causing humiliation for the singer.

The 21-year-old said she was horrified when details of the internet spread around the world.

She said: ‘It made it really difficult. I just felt, oh my God, here goes my little bit of privacy. The whole world knowing.’

But despite their fight, Rihanna and Brown tried to repair their broken relationship and were spotted holidaying together at Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs’ beach house in Florida.

In retrospect, Rihanna soon realised it was the wrong decision and ended their relationship.

She explained: ‘When I realised that my selfish decision for love could result in some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. I couldn’t be held responsible for telling them "go back".

 

‘Even if Chris never hit me again who is to say their boyfriends won’t. Who is to say that they won’t kill these girls?

‘I just didn’t realise how much of an impact I could have on these girls’ lives until this happened. It was a wake-up call for me…

‘Especially when I took myself out of that situation and I’ll say that to any young girl who is going through domestic violence.

‘"F" love. Come out of the situation and look at it third person and for what it really is, then make your decision because love is so blind.’

Brown pleaded guilty to assault in August and was sentenced to six months of community service, 12 months of domestic violence counselling and five years probation.

He was also slapped with a restraining order which requires him to stay at least 100 yards from his ex for five years.

In September, Brown, 20, spoke of his regrets over the incident on Larry King Live.
